I enjoyed stitching with you both today. I’m so glad to see that you are both stitching on Peacock and Pomegranate. I started stitching on it in early July 2022 when you started your SAL (I’d never seen the piece before that!) and finished it in May last year. I loved working on it - one of my favourite finishes ever!

For the Twisted Oak Design chicken pattern. Try dmc 115 for the red. It’s a red variegated one with the dark red in it!

What an amazing WIP parade. There were several charts I have like you and some I'm working on. One in particular is One Nation. I started it with a group several years ago. It's been in time out bit the blue is done with the stars and the states to the right of them. I live in Ohio so I stitched it in blue. The lines are a pain but I need to stitch more on a regular basis. Happy stitching.

I am going to have to look, I think I won that pattern at camp last year. If I have it I will be starting it soon to stitch you with you ladies! It was nice seeing you both again.

Nice to see you ladies & happy Mother's Day. Congratulations Keisha. My favourite WIP at the moment is Hidden Harbor by HAED - gorgeous colours, lots of blocks (not too much confetti). My least favourite at the moment is Evening in the Shire by Cute Patterns by Maria. It's gorgeous but it's mostly backstitch and I don't mind a bit of backstitch but I'm over this one! Maybe I should make myself do a length of floss on it each day and eventually it will be done. I agree with you ladies - monochromatic designs are great for busy fabric (or for doing on a very plain fabric and using those more variegated flosses). For my Maynia I decided to get at least 200 stitches into each of my 24 WIPs (and then some of them had other bigger goals - a couple of finishes for small pieces, a couple of sections to be completed). I'm working on Love Never Fails by Barbara Ana while watching you ladies. So far I've done 179 stitches while watching you (I stitch in hand and stitch quickly and the bit I'm working on is a border of a large box)
